I can't believe it has taken me this long to write this. Our acceptance came through last Tuesday with a flurry of activity. We are flying to Dallas, Texas on 13th June to undertake the on boarding course at the International Operations centre. After 5 weeks we will be flying out to join the ship in the Canary Islands to sail down the coast to Pointe Noir, Republic of Congo. We were supposed to be completing field service at the end of course somewhere in Guinea or Congo but since school will be starting during that time, we have been exempted. That is a huge answer to prayer as preparing the boys for field service was weighing on our minds. We never expected an exemption though.
Thank you to everyone that has prayed for us. It is an unbelievable feeling to be going. And whilst there is a lot of uncertainty ahead, we know that God is leading us forward.
